Interested in becoming a host institution for a Fulbright Specialist

On behalf of the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FSB), the Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Department of State (ECA), and the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES), it is a pleasure to inform Diana Suskind that as of 3/7/2013, she has been re-admitted to the Fulbright Specialist Roster for up to a maximum of five years, subject to continued funding for the program.

Fulbright, Senior Scholar

University of Udine, Udine, Italy (sponsoring organization). Worked with university students at adegli studi di Udine facolta di Agraria Centro per la didattica e la ricerca in viticoltura ed enologia and Marie Forte Kindergarten to produce the following projects: a poem, “I don’t Want To"; a children’s book, “The Dove and the Grape"; and a play, “The Spider and the Grape." Each project contained a moral for the children. November 7-December 23, 2005.

 

Fulbright Senior Scholar

New Zealand Childcare Association/Te Tari Puna Ora o Aotearoa (sponsoring organization) a six-week project. A Diana Suskind speaking tour (keynotes, lectures, workshops, intensives and childcare visitations) in Auckland, Hamilton, Dunedin, Nelson, Wellington, Christchurch, and Whangarea, New Zealand. The project included sharing expertise with professionals, students and parents, also native Maori and Polynesian Islanders. (Resources for Infant Educarers [RIE], the respectful approach for the caring of infants and toddlers. July 25-September 5, 2003.
